School Visits

The Children's Services Division of the Silas Bronson Library is pleased to partner with Waterbury schools, daycare providers, and homeschool tutors to offer children from birth to 8th grade with resources and experiences that encourage and support their growth, development and education.

From September to May, Librarians conduct:

Class Visits (A visit to the public library as part of your school's learning program)
will enrich students' reading and build confidence as library users

Successful collaboration with Silas Bronson library can also be beneficial to the entire family with school age students, encouraging parents and siblings to visit the public library after school, on Saturdays and school holidays.

To arrange a librarian visit or to visit the library, call the children's services division at 203-574-8212 at least three weeks in advance.
