Borrowing

You may borrow books, audiocassettes, DVDs, videocassettes, compact discs, and many other kinds of materials. Most items can be checked out for 21 days; however, there are some exceptions:

After hours book returns are available at both the Main Library and the Bunker Hill Branch.

Renewals may be placed either in-person or by telephone for the length of the original loan period. Sorry, no renewal for materials on reserve for others or on material loaned for fourteen days. Videos & DVDs cannot be renewed.

Overdue and Lost Materials

Fines on most items are $.20 cents per day per item. Videocassettes and DVDs are $1 per day if overdue. If an item is lost, the retail price is charged along with a service charge of $5.

Borrowing privileges will be suspended for delinquent accounts ($5.00 or more) and may be referred to a third party collection agency.
