Silas Bronson Library KidZone

The Silas Bronson KidZone is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for Waterbury-area families, schools, and daycares to come together to enjoy books, computers, socializing and activities. Our librarians spend their time curating a collection that is sure to please even the most finicky reader, host programs that are engaging and fun for kids as young as 2 and as grown as 99.

We are delighted to share that The KidZone is fully open to the public to come in, browse, and enjoy the KidZone space! There are some notable changes to the KidZone, such as we've put away all of our toys, offering hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes for those who would like them. Many of our activities are on the library Zoom platform, which requires preregistration or are outside on the library grounds.

For our TWEENS (ages 10+) ask about what services and programs we have for you! You'll see our friendly faces not only in the KidZone on the 2nd floor but also in the First Floor TeenZone.

Stop in and say hello!  We hope to see you soon!
